Here’s a little about us …
Nestled amongst the beautiful stone buildings of Titchmarsh’s conservation area, The Wheatsheaf has been revitalised as a traditional village pub with dining. Beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls and inglenook fireplaces in the bar and snug create cosy and characterful spaces, whilst the garden-facing dining room opens out onto a secluded garden. Both the dining room and garden are available to private hire for functions & events, and the pub garden areas are fully wheelchair accessible.
The Wheatsheaf has a long-standing history, but since 2021, it has been under the dedicated management of our Business Owner, Gemma Southern. Gemma has invested her passion and commitment into The Wheatsheaf, ensuring it remains the beloved pub that patrons cherish today. Supporting Gemma are General Manager Oli Mellor and his front-of-house team, as well as Head Chef Kaela Furniss and her kitchen team.
With a comfortable indoor setting, the ability to cater for functions and events, a sun trap of a patio and lawn area coupled with ample parking, baby facilities, being child and dog friendly: The Wheatsheaf has something for everyone …
Titchmarsh is only a short distance from the historic market town of Oundle, and easily accessible for both the A14 and the A605. With Rushden Lakes & Barnwell Country Park easily within reach, The Wheatsheaf makes for a great place to relax after a busy day shopping.
